I submitted a request for a distribution from my 401(k) plan and I want the amount to be rolled over to my traditional IRA. I may be out of the country at the time (and sometime after) the distribution is actually processed by my plan administrator. I was told that the amount must be deposited to my IRA within 60-days and I am concerned that I may not be here when the check arrives, which could cause me to miss the 60-day deadline.
